Food Truck Branding
I expanded the animal marks I created in a previous project to design and brand a food truck. Uncommon Tusk is a truck that serves brunch and brew with its specialized breakfast ale. I created to-go packaging, a menu, business cards, and the beer’s label and six pack.
LAX Monogram
I redesigned LAX’s monogram to better represent the city’s qualities. This typographic make embodies the automotive culture that Los Angeles has.
Young Life Kansas City Metro brochure
I designed a brochure for the development of Kansas City Metro’s Young Life area. The print version of this brochure folds out as an accordion, but can also be viewed on their website as a booklet.
Iconography
This project explored different types of mark making. The final deliverables included 16 different symbols of an elephant and a process book that displays over 200 sketches I made along the way.
Infographics
These infographics teach you how to bake a cake in an image based, typography based, or non-computer based way.
Typography
For this project I designed a typeface called Funky Pixel. I created a mailer that displayed it’s character set, designer info, and poster.
Lawrence Myths and Tales
The University Daily Kansan ran a special sections over the myths and tales of Lawrence. I created a poster that hung on the side of the newspapers’ distribution boxes and a social media graphic.
Under the Big Top
I designed the promotional material for Velocity Church’s Kids Camp, which included invitations, name tags, and a poster.
Book Design
I bound this book myself and designed spreads based on the research I did of Bruce Mau. There are three other designers featured in this book who’s pages were designed by other group members. The content I designed is showcased below.

Internship Experience
Social Media Strategy. During my internship for Prosperity Planning I created LinkedIn accounts for all six members, planned media postings, and formulated the company’s social media strategy.
